If everything was done correctly up to this point, you have laid the groundwork and you are ready to fully engage in the job search.

The Job Hunting strategy that I propose is built around 7 elements, namely:

  1. Building a system
  2. Marketing yourself
  3. Growing your network
  4. Creating support systems
  5. Building your personal brand
  6. Creating value for free
  7. Thinking outside of the box and being creative

Let's look into the actions.

This is what I suggest you do.

1. Build a system

The first thing you need to do is create a functional routine for yourself.

James Clear, the author of "Atomic Habits" writes:

"You do not rise to the level of your goals, you fall to the level of your systems."

Indeed. It doesn't matter how high you aim. If you do not have a robust system in place, you will never be productive.

Job Hunting is a marathon, sometimes it is hard to motivate yourself. But it gets much easier once you realize that motivation is a product of momentum. Momentum is born in movement. And it is not that hard to move when you know what you have to do every particular block of time.

Until you are employed consider your Job Search Activities your 9-to-5 job.

Do something that many people refuse to do.
