NLP presuppositions is a set of coaching mental models. They are called presuppositions because in NLP we accept them as basic guiding principles that inform our philosophical approach to coaching.

- 4. Everyone is doing the best they can.
- 5. Behind every behaviour there is a positive intention.
- 6. People Are Not Their Behaviour.
- 7. Calibrate on Behaviour.
- 8. Behaviour and change should be evaluated in their Ecology
- 9. People are naturally creative, resourceful, and whole.
- 10. Resistance indicates a Lack of Rapport.
- 11. Failure doesn’t exist. Only Feedback.
- 12. Any behaviour was the best choice anyone had at the time.
